Cheque of PKSF-Education Scholarship 2022

On 22 August 2022, on the occasion of 47th Death Anniversary of the Great Architect of the Independence and Father of the Nation Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman; Sabalamby Unnayan Samity (SUS), Netrakona arranged a Discussion Meeting and provided “Cheque of PKSF-Education Scholarship 2022” among 13 poor, ultra-poor and meritorious students of ENRICH working area (Each taka 12000) of Singher Bangla union under Netrakona Sadar upazila of Netrakona district by the assistance of Palli Karma-Sahayak Foundation (PKSF) at DREAM Center of SUS Head Office, Netrakona. Ms. Anjana Khan Mojlish, Deputy Commissioner (DC) and Learned District Magistrate, Netrakona district was present as Honorable Chief Guest, and Ms. Mahmuda Akter, Upazila Nirbahi Officer (UNO), Netrakona sadar upazila, Netrakona district as Honorable Special Guest. Begum Rokeya, Executive Director, SUS presided over the program and gave her welcome speech. Md. Ali Ahsan Sumon, APD & Focal Person of ENRICH Program briefed about the program. Kohinoor Begum, Manager (R&G) acted the role of Moderator. The staff of different levels of SUS and guardians of the students was present in the program. The Special Guest and Chief Guest paid their humble respect to the Father of the Nation and his family members, relatives, and friends who were brutally assassinated by a group of misguided army officers on the fateful night of 15 August 1975. They told to the students to go ahead by keeping the ideology of the Father of the Nation. They offered their thanks to Begum Rokeya, ED along with other staff members of SUS for arranging such type of worthy program. The ED of SUS also paid her thanks and gratitude to the Chief Guest and Special Guest for their kind presence in this program. She also expected the overall cooperation of Upazila and the District Administration in the coming days to carry out the development initiatives properly and successfully. The Chief and Special Guests also visited “Begum Rokeya Information-Technology Center”, “Bangabandhu and Muktijudha Corner”, the Handicraft Section, and the Sales Center of SUS.
