Support Services of SUS
Sabalamby Unnayan Samity (SUS) is implementing all its programs through five thematic areas. To capacitate the relevant stakeholders, keep project activities on track and ensure necessary supports for smooth running of the projects/program; SUS offers training, monitoring, logistics, financial and other necessary supports to facilitate effective program operations. SUS provides training with a view to enhance the management competences of the member of SUS and to improve the operational skills of program participants.

The perfectness of the field information is verified through input/output indicators and other documents. The findings are discussed and written feed backs are provided to the respective program personnel through SUS management. Monitoring reports are prepared and submitted to the respective authority in regular basis. SUS demonstrates its commitment to sustainability through effective Human Resource Management (HRM) practices. HRM encompasses various aspects, including staff profiles, recruitment, job descriptions, performance appraisals, salary increments, promotions, leave management, transfers and dismissals. All related documents are properly maintained and managed by the HRM department. Additionally, SUS engages in publishing materials on current issues, preserves necessary documents and maintains communication with relevant government and non-government institutions. These activities contribute to the organization’s knowledge dissemination and collaboration with external stakeholders.

Training allows employees to acquire new skills, sharpen existing ones, perform better, increase productivity and be better leaders. The sustainability of the organization depends on sincerity, competence, commitment and ownership of the employees and other relevant stakeholders.

Monitoring and Evaluation
SUS started an individual monitoring and evaluation cell in 1998 according to the need of assessing and restoring the quality of services such as: Data collection and management and study and action research. The monitoring personnel collects important information of different projects/programs as sampling basis, prepares reports and submits to the authority for taking necessary initiatives.

Besides, SUS has particular monitors in respective programs/projects. So, they also monitor their project individually and submit the report to the respective personnel/authorities. They communicate with central monitoring and evaluation department of SUS if necessary.

Reporting
A good report provides a tangible portrait of any project. The multi-dimensional reporting system increases the authenticity of any report and provides a solid ground of monitoring and evaluation. SUS has a reporting system and according to which all the project/program employees prepare their Monthly, Half-yearly and Yearly progress reports where organization gets clear picture about any intervention and provides feedback or instruction for further improvement on the basis of the report.

SUS central M&E unit also prepares issue-based report according to the needs of the management authority as well as other stakeholders and development partners.  Besides, SUS central M&E unit prepares and submits monitoring and evaluation reports following field visits of different projects as sampling basis.
